PERT Training Academy Courses

 PERT Training Academy delivers practice-oriented professional courses designed for development professionals, government staff, NGO practitioners, and aspiring consultants. Our programs combine international best practices with real-world field experience, hands-on assignments, and post-training coaching to ensure participants can immediately apply what they learn. Every course includes a practical capstone project where participants apply their learning to real or simulated professional assignments.

 

Participants who successfully complete course requirements, including module tests and capstone projects, receive a PERT Professional Certificate and gain access to six months of post-course coaching and mentoring to support real-world application of skills.

Course Title: Advanced Evaluation Practice

Brief Course Description: This advanced course equips participants to independently design, manage, and deliver high-quality evaluations aligned with international standards. By the end of the course, participants will be able to develop evaluation TORs, select appropriate methodologies, manage data collection teams, analyze mixed-methods data, and produce credible, useable evaluation reports that inform decision-making.

Course Pre-requisite(s): Bachelor’s degree; Training in M&E fundamentals; Minimum 3 years’ experience in M&E practice.

​Digital Tools and Technology for M&E (Modular Course Series)

Brief Course Description: This modular course series equips participants with hands-on skills in digital data collection, analysis, visualization, and emerging technologies for M&E. Participants will gain the ability to design mobile surveys, manage digital datasets, create dashboards, apply qualitative and GIS tools, and responsibly integrate AI into performance monitoring and evaluation work. Participants may enroll in individual modules or complete the full digital tools track.​

Course Title: Foundations of Monitoring and Evaluation

Brief Course Description: This practical introductory course enables participants to confidently design and implement basic M&E systems for projects and programs. Participants will learn how to develop indicators, create M&E plans, collect and manage data, and produce clear monitoring reports that support accountability and learning.

Brief Course Description: This course equips participants with practical project management skills to plan, implement, and oversee projects effectively. By the end of the course, participants will be able to develop project charters, work plans, budgets, risk mitigation strategies, and monitoring systems that ensure timely delivery and accountability for results.​

Brief Course Description: This course enables participants to lead or support the development of practical, results-oriented strategic plans. Participants will learn how to conduct organizational and environmental analyses, define strategic priorities, set measurable objectives, and translate strategy into actionable implementation and performance monitoring frameworks.​

Brief Course Description: This course equips participants with the practical skills to develop winning proposals and produce high-quality professional reports. By the end of the training, participants will be able to translate project ideas into structured proposals, align with donor requirements, develop strong logframes and budgets, and write clear, evidence-based reports for different audiences.​
